The Bureau of Business and Investment Law is a law office that offers first rate legal services in a range of transactions including the registration of national and expatriate businesses as Sudanese companies, or foreign companies desiring registration under part VIII of the Companies Act, partnerships, business names, and trade marks.
The Bureau is composed of full-time in-house lawyers, and associates possessing high academic qualifications and wide experience in law and allied disciplines, derived from years of practice in the Sudan, and service in international and regional organizations. Apart from negotiation and drafting of legal documents, and undertaking litigation and arbitration proceedings, the Bureau offers legal advice related to project financing, identifying prospective business partners and acquisition of licensing, and concessions for investment projects. We have experience in handling cases involving Conflict of Laws, execution of arbitral awards and court judgments, as well as Foreign Judgment Execution. Some of the Bureau's members have longstanding academic and practical experience in negotiating, drafting, and monitoring implementation of engineering and building contracts, including contracts of oil and petroleum installments.
The Bureau tenders first class legal and allied services for highly competitive fees. We are, in the meantime, committed to professional ethics and morality in dealing with, and handling the legal affairs of our clients.
The Bureau's lawyers, between them, possess linguistic skills that enable them to handle briefs in Arabic, English, and French.
